Your credit union is invited to participate in promoting educational scholarships. Here are some frequently asked questions regarding the scholarship program. Who Can apply for a scholarship?
Any New Mexico resident who is going to attend an accredited New Mexico college or university as an undergraduate student.
Does CNM qualify as a college?
Yes! Any vocational, two-year or four-year college or university in New Mexico qualifies.
Where can we get more scholarship applications?
Additional copies can be obtained by reproducing the forms that you have or visiting the Credit Union Association of New Mexico Web site at cuanm.org.
Where does the student send the application?
Hand delivered scholarships will not be accepted

When will the scholarship be awarded?
The scholarships will be awarded the second quarter of 2021 and mailed directly to the financial aid office at the recipient’s designated school in August. Applications must be postmarked by Friday, February 26, 2021. Only completed applications post marked by Friday, February 26, 2021 will be considered.
What are the scholarships based on?
The Foundation’s Board of Directors review all scholarship applications for eligibility and then base their decisions on the following criteria (not necessarily in this order): financial need, scholastic achievement, presentation, extra curricular activities/community service, and references.
