What does a Board Member do?

As volunteer representatives of the membership of Southwest Federal Credit Union, Board Members review the financial condition of the credit union, make decisions on the direction of the credit union and set the vision for the future of the credit union. Volunteers must be able to attend a monthly meeting. Generally, Board Members will need to dedicate about six (6) hours a month to credit union business.

How do I get elected?

If you are interested in running for a seat on the Board of Directors or any of the credit unions volunteer committees, please download, fill out, and return Volunteer-Application the application in person at one of our branches, or by mail or fax.
